OKAY OKAY, so all the characters from FANGIRL decide to do Yuletide, and it is basically the GREATEST THING IN MY LIFE (right now). Seriously. And it's Yuletide 2012, so that means Bublé/Velociraptors.
The Case of the Dancing Girl - DEATH BY SILVER.
Basically my favourite thing about DEATH BY SILVER is the magic. And the grammar. And the kissing. And this fic? ALL OF IT. Also, there's a thing with a potholder that I don't want to ruin for you, but seriously: read it. Also, the urtica mordax gets a cameo that made me snicker really hard. BECAUSE OF REASONS.
The Cursed Bowl - DEATH BY SILVER.
The other thing I really love about DEATH BY SILVER? Miss Frost. So obviously this fic has "win" all over it.
The Worst Wingman Ever - The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
This is the story of how Fitz and Darcy became (and stayed) friends, and lo, it is awesome.
All Politeness - The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Darcy goes to Carter's. It does not end well. Except for me, of course, because this fic is excellent.
A View From The Other Side - The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Darcy's version of the Gibson wedding. There are a few differences, but a lot of things stay the same. And considering this is the year I grew to tolerate William Darcy, I think it says a lot that I have TWO recs from his POV. But this fic has the most amazing voice for Darcy, and in my terribly unprofessional opinion, I think it's perfect.
Vienna Waits For You - The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Lizzie does not get a happily ever after. She gets an after. And it's hard. And it's perfect. And, good lord, Drunk!Mrs. Bennet is not to be missed!

Randomly, I'm not sure I like the whole "AO3 is smart enough that you comment anonymously on un-revealed challenges" feature. I mean, it's great in theory, but in practice it means I am getting a pile of anonymous replies to my comments, so I don't know who wrote the fics, and never will, because I'll lose track of them all by the time the reveal rolls around.
(Unless AO3 is also smart enough to email me again? I doubt it. But whatever.)
