I Suddenly Remembered My Charlemagne

Let me open by saying that Cashore's first two books, GRACELING and FIRE, are amongst the best books I've ever read. I also know a fair bit about how this story was written, and the sheer effort involved in going from first draft to bound book. Also, I've been looking forward to this book for more than a year. My expectations could not have been higher.

( And they were more than met. )

10/10 for being everything I didn't know I wanted, and everything I didn't realize I had dreamed.
